Reception into the Anglican Church and the Sacrament of Confirmation
Each year young people and adults are received into membership of our Church (having previously been a member of another denomination) or receive the Sacrament of Confirmation (having previously been baptised but not Confirmed by an Anglican or Roman Catholic Bishop). This year Bishop Peter Stuart will be receiving and confirming on Sunday 31st May at St Peter’s Church.
Preparation sessions will commence on Monday 4th May at 6 pm for young people and 7 pm for adults in the Church. Please contact Deacon Will as soon as possible for more information.
Altar Linen Helpers Needed
Helpers are needed to join the linen roster for one month each year to wash the altar linen. Please contact Maureen Cummins on 4933 3323 if you are able to assist. Thank you.
Mothers’ Union – Monday 20th April: 10 am

Men’s Fellowship – Wednesday 22nd April: 7 pm

Saint Egwin’s Fellowship Group – Friday 24th April: 12 noon

God Time Family Service – Sunday 26th April: 4 pm
God Time is next happening on Sunday the 26th in the Church for a service focusing on “Prayer in tough times” with a special focus on war and Anzac day, followed by a barbecue. All welcome!
First Friday Healing Eucharist – Friday 1st May: 10.30 am
We will be joined by visitors from some of the Newcastle City Parishes when we gather for the First Friday Healing Eucharist at 10.30 am on Friday 1st May. Please be with us for worship followed by refreshments.
Stations of the Cross – Friday 1st May: 6.30 pm
We will be walking the Stations of the Cross on the First Friday of each month after Evening Prayer at 6.30 pm.

Petrus Community – An Invitation to You
Petrus Community of young people (20-40) is meeting every Tuesday in Saint Egwin’s House for an informal study on the Letter to the Church in Philippi followed by Compline (Night Prayer) in the Church.
