Supper with the Saints at 6 pm and Compline at 7 pm, Wednesday 13thJune

In the hour between Evening Prayer and Compline on the second Wednesday of each month, a group of parishioners have been getting together for an informal supper and discussion about the life of a Saint.  All are welcome to this exciting new discussion group and to stay for Compline afterwards.  No prior knowledge is necessary.

 

Spirituality Group (Saint Peter’s Community) at 7 pm, Thursday 14thJune

The spirituality group meets this Thursday at 7 pm.  Readings on aspects of Christian Spirituality for reflection and discussion are available from Angela Peverall, concluding with a short, said Compline.  For more information please contact Angela.  All are welcome.

 

Ladies Afternoon at 2 pm, Sunday 17thJune

Ladies, please join us on Sunday 17thJune at 2 pm in the Parish Hall.  More details in Cross and Keys.

 

Sydney Men’s Shed Chorale at 2 pm, Sunday 24thJune

The Sydney Men’s Shed Chorale will be performing in our church
on Sunday 24thJune at 2 pm.  Tickets are $20, including
cheese and wine refreshments – payment can be made on the day.

This is a return performance following the success of their visit in 2016. There is a sign on sheet at the rear of the church.

 

Faculty Applications

Two faculty applications are on display at the North Door.  Please read them carefully and if you wish to comment formally during this exhibition phase, please write to Maryka Gibson, the Parish Council Secretary.

 

Mission Pigs

It is the time of year to swap over our mission pigs for an empty one. Please bring in your mission pig in the coming weeks.  Empty pigs are available at the back of the church.

 

Entertainment Books 2018-19

Lily Amos has 2018-2019 Entertainment Books for sale at a cost of $65 per book – full of vouchers and special offers for restaurants, cafes, and locations across the Hunter Valley.    Please contact Lily on 0418 662492 to order your copy.  This is a fundraiser with 20% of all sales being donated to Saint Peter’s Church.
