Father David is Participating in the NSW Rural Fire Service Chaplaincy and Family Support Conference

Father David has been participating in the Rural Fire Service Chaplaincy and Family Support Conference in Sydney this week.

He serves as the Chaplain for the Lower Hunter Zone and has been training with other chaplains and family support workers in the areas of grief and trauma.  The chaplains meet every two years for a week of fellowship and training under the leadership of the NSW RFS Senior Chaplains Ian and Kerry Spall.

The NSW Rural Fire Service has over 70,000 volunteer fire fighters and a paid staff of over 800.  The chaplains and family support workers minister across NSW supporting the agency by providing pastoral and spiritual care.
