Under the leadership of Evanne Sherringham, our new Junior Choir has begun rehearsing on Fridays for one hour beginning at 4.45 pm in the choir vestry in the Church. We now have six children singing with us, others are most welcome!
A large crowd of 120 supporters of World Vision and friends gathered at St Stephen’s Church Hall in East Maitland for the annual Soup and Damper Fundraising Luncheon on Thursday 28th May. Fr David spoke to the guests about his experiences working alongside World Vision in East Africa in the late 1990s.

Bishop Peter Stuart , Administrator of the Diocese of Newcastle, will preside and preach at the Vigil Mass at 6 pm on Saturday 22nd June, and Masses at 7.30 am and 9.30 am on Sunday 23rd June. The 9.30 am Sung Mass will include the Sacrament of Confirmation followed by a Parish lunch.

The Episcopal Election Synod was unable to elect a Bishop when it met in April 2013. The Synod will meet again, with the possibility of considering candidates again and contemplating new candidates from 13th – 15th September. Yvonne Bell, Kevin Short and Nancy Wright will participate in this Synod with Fr David.
